PetCare was established in 1991 as the only wellness, emergency and specialty practice in the Northbay. Our goal was to act both as a primary family veterinarian as well as to complement the family veterinarians in the area by providing specialized referral services in internal medicine and surgery as well as 24-hour emergency and intensive care for dogs and cats. Since its inception, PetCare has grown to include a medical staff of 18 doctors.

We remain committed to offering the most advanced, 24-hour, veterinary medical diagnostics and treatment in a caring and compassionate atmosphere. Our hospital laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, orthopedic and anesthetic equipment provide state of the art diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities.

In addition to offering 24-hour emergency care, we have extended general practice appointment hours and are always happy to see new pets and their families.

At PetCare we often see patients from other veterinary hospitals that require specialty or emergency care. Our emergency, critical care and specialty services work closely with your family veterinarian. As your pet’s health stabilizes your pet will be transferred back to their primary veterinary hospital for follow-up and continuing care.
